It's Monday and a holiday. MLK day is great. It is a perfect lazy Monday. I mean, really all Monday's are kind of lazy. The weekend messes us up and even if we are back at work it is usually a two cup of coffee kind of thing. Tuesdays are actually the most productive workdays. So it is kind of nice to have a Monday in which to enjoy a leisurely second cup of coffee rather than hoping the caffeine will aid us in remembering what it was that we were supposed to do as our sticky note to ourselves from Friday seems to have disappeared. We can put off until Tomorrow whatever it was that we were supposed to do and enjoy the day as it comes.
About that, I have to remind you that as of midnight tonight, A Pack Forms will be back to its regular price of $4.99. If you want it for FREE, you need to pick it up today! This is your last chance to do this for quite awhile. Y'all know I am Indie. That means I can't actually indulge my nature to just share the story for free all the time. So take advantage of the opportunity that presents itself before you as you enjoy what the day brings rather than scheduling your events.
Having mentioned that, I feel I must remind you that the continuation of Leon Vadim's story and the truth about Jace's mate is revealed in Dream Therapy which is on pre-order right now for the debut price of $3.99. Of course the books are always free on Kindle Unlimited, but not all of us have a subscription. (Mostly because I am afraid I would never stop reading if it was all free to me. That would be as bad as moving into the library. LOL)
Okay so now that the gratuitous plug has been done, we can get down to business. What has been going on at Draoithe. So, I have been posting story boards to Pinterest and Instagram. I even built a really cool mini read from Midnight Magic that is up on the website. The intro starts playing while the page is loading and takes about 30 seconds, but you can just watch and read if you like. (I wanted to put it on Youtube, but they won't let me upload a google slide show so it's back to the drawing board on that front.) I can't afford to give the books away too often, and if I make too much available outside of Kindle, I won't be able to sell them there. So I am working around that.
A lot of my readers have been asking about what's next. So I published my Novels To Be Released list to Pinterest and the website. I will probably put it on Instagram later too. Thanks everyone for following, liking, commenting on the social media sites. I appreciate all the feedback. I am an Indie author so shares are awesome too. A shout out to Faye Hall Australian Historical Romance Author on Pinterest. I am glad you like the story boards. I posted a few more shorter ones. Shout out to my long time supporter and best critic, Frank Grimes and to Dorothy Martin for following all my boards on Pinterest. Thank you all! Sincerely. We have a lot of new followers on Instagram and Twitter, and our Facebook friends are in the hundreds now. You guys make the story possible. I hope you continue to enjoy.
Welcome to Ophelia Kee Speaks. This is a blog chronicling my independent author walk. The journey into the dream has been a life-changing experience as I try to become a full-time writer and leave the professional world behind me. In my blog each day, you will find information on the ‘behind the scenes’ for writing contemporary adult fantasy fiction and paranormal romance stories set in the dream. I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion. I am not an expert and am not claiming to be one. I am simply one writer offering a glimpse of my struggle to become a successful independent author. Thank you for considering my words.
