Dragon Masters launches on March 23. Book 12 in the Draoithe series stars the red dragons Blue and Torch. They have been an asset for Luke and have successfully served on several missions. They are due for a bit of rest and relaxation after the last mission turned into a grueling road trip. But just when they think they can get back to the routine of daily life at Draoithe, treasure falls from the sky. Their next mission? Take care of their Valkyrie.
It is Saturday! Lots of stuff to do. So many good books to read. If you have been following my author walk thank you for coming on the journey with me. I hope you will continue to check back from time to time. If you are new, welcome to the dream. Don't forget to grab your FREE gift of The Thread before you go. I would love to share my stories with you. I began writing this blog last year with no real idea what I should be doing. I hope that I have gotten better. Those of you who have been with me since the beginning, I hope that you are still smiling at my mistakes. I think I have made significant improvements. (Pictures, Links, Hashtags, and Pinterest share is all pretty cool to me.) If you are barely stumbling over me, I hope that you will choose to return often to discover what happens next in the journey or click on some of the archived blogs to see where I started and what I have done so far. I would love to think you might follow me on Amazon!
Continuing the segments answering How I promote and market my books is today's Shameless Self Promotion. One of the best free ways to promote my books is on my own blog. The entire website is designed for that anyway. Failing to use my blog to promote my own work seems like a bit of a lost opportunity. But I don't always just promote my own work. On occasion, I highlight some of the Indie Authors that I have read and really enjoyed. I am not any kind of professional book reviewer, just a regular reader like everyone else. I like what I like and try to let you in on a bit of the real Ophelia Kee. I do love books. I have joked that I should have been a librarian.
I love to hear from you. Drop me a line, ask a question, make a comment, offer a suggestion. I have written whole books just to be able to answer a question or explain something about the dream that left someone unclear. I welcome the chance to chat with you about the dream. I have to run away now, but I will be back soon. My truck will be repaired and the mechanic would like to be paid shortly. Rest assured that I will respond if you do reach out. There is no automated robot here! (Imagine the expense on that? LOL) If you read, please be kind and leave your reviews. Have an awesome Saturday!
Welcome to Ophelia Kee Speaks. This is a blog chronicling my independent author walk. The journey into the dream has been a life-changing experience as I try to become a full-time writer and leave the professional world behind me. In my blog each day, you will find information on the ‘behind the scenes’ for writing contemporary adult fantasy fiction and paranormal romance stories set in the dream. I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion. I am not an expert and am not claiming to be one. I am simply one writer offering a glimpse of my struggle to become a successful independent author. Thank you for considering my words.
