My Life in Words Ophelia Kee Speaks |
It's the first weekend in a very long time that no new title is publishing. It's almost Christmas, and I have a two week vacation from the day job, so I am focusing on finishing the revisions and publishing all the stories as 6x9 paperbacks. Grammarly is helping with the revisions and minor edits. (Always there is a comma in the wrong place or an extra period. SMH Edits are the bane of writing.)

I have finished the short reads of the Dream Therapy miniseries and will be uploading the 6x9 paperback today! I am excited to get them all finished and move forward with the publishing. While I am revising and publishing 2nd edition paperbacks, I am also building all the miniseries and adding those miniseries to the main series on Amazon. It is a bit of work, but I hope it might be helpful to readers trying to navigate the saga. (Keep laughing. I was only going to write one book. My side hurts everytime I think of that I have laughed so hard.)
Honestly, though, isn't this just the coolest book cover? This is an awesome story too. The deaf architectural designer meets a black bear dreaminverter who has long been disabled by his magic. For the bear to claim his mate he has to overcome both their issues and keep her safe from men like Frank Grimes and the shadowed evil of Peter Elliot. This one is a thrill ride into the magic of the dream. The 6x9 Paperback will be available to order before Christmas! ![]()
Book Blurb
Draoithe: Dream Therapy Jace Weda is an immortal bear shifter whose dream inversion gift has crippled his life. He is an accomplished pilot, but can’t handle the stress of driving a car. When he and his brother take a mission to hunt a rapist for Fox, his life changes drastically, and leaving California for Draoithe in the summer of 2016 is the only solution to avoid disastrous blowback from a deadly enemy. Living at Draoithe grants him a new perspective and an opportunity for a brand new life with therapy and counseling for the dream magic he was born with. It also brings an unexpected encounter with the deaf architectural design artist. One-touch, and he is hooked. When he catches the contractor beating her, he loses his mind and beats the fool unconscious, but that is where his life gets complicated. He wants the contractor's head, but taking care of the beautiful deaf designer takes precedence. When he learns that she is in trouble because of the work she did in designing his new home, he realizes that all his hope for something more with her could simply vanish like smoke on the wind. Jace must find a way to help the fiercely independent woman he desperately needs and keep her safe from the pitfalls of his world. ![]()
The cover on this one did get me in trouble with Facebook once. They decided it went against selling tobacco or other drugs!? It's a book cover with smoke. Really? Oh well. The bots on social media are a bit warped. What can you do? Just let it go. LOL! I posted it to Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, and Youtube. Amazon let me use it and they do have rules too, so whatever crazy Facebook. The cover was too good not to use it. This excerpt got banned on Facebook too. LOL. I run into that alot with the shifter animal images. Oh well. I write adult fantasy/paranormal romance. I suppose it was bound to happen. I am still laughing though. I do not now, nor have I ever attempted to advertise the sale of any black bears. Just for the record.
Freebies! and Future Goals
I intend to give away some of my stories for free after Christmas, so be on the lookout for them on Amazon and my crazy promos on social media. As always, The Thread is perma FREE on OpheliaKee.com. If you have not yet read the Prologue to A Pack Forms, you might want to pick it up. As we finally get away from 2020. I am looking at changes for next year. I want to keep publishing the saga and finish writing the last of the stories in it. Sadly, it is almost done. The next books I write I might consider publishing a different route. I do need help with the marketing and promoting so I think I have to work on that and I also have to figure out merchandising, and audio or video books. 2021, here I come.
I have to run away! Thanks for stopping by today! If you read, please be kind and leave reviews. All authors will love you for it, but Indie Authors will love you a little more.

I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion.
