Check out the new place!
This is the new home of Ophelia Kee, and all of Draoithe is moving in soon! I can't wait.
The latest greatest is the new house, but also Book Trailers are coming soon to YouTube! So for everyone who wanted to see some of the art in the books in full color, the current estimated deadline for the book trailer for Draoithe: A Pack Forms is Christmas 2019. Stay tuned people, we are going somewhere with this even if no one quite knows where. And yeah, I know the book has been out over a year, but I only just found out about Book Trailers. Retroactive Book Trailers will be cool, I hope. And like everything else about Draoithe, they too will be crafted entirely by Ophelia Kee.
If you are new to Draoithe, it might be interesting to note that this is basically a one man show. Ophelia Kee is an impoverished Indie writer who can't quit the day job because it pays for the house and the laptop to write on. But I continue to write the stories (because someone has to tell the story, and I think that someone is me), and I make improvements with the marketing and the promoting along the way. So if you are following my journey, smile wide because like Leo and Sruthan, I want to chase a few rabbits on my way out of the desert. (Sorry, that story is in book fourteen. Draoithe: War Dogs is coming. Shh! don't tell anyone yet. Cause it's not done.)
Wish me luck, drop me a line, comment on the books, the blog, or just ask a question. I'm a bit tired, but today was a good day! Who says Friday the 13th is a bad day. Not for me.
Welcome to Ophelia Kee Speaks. This is a blog chronicling my independent author walk. The journey into the dream has been a life-changing experience as I try to become a full-time writer and leave the professional world behind me. In my blog each day, you will find information on the ‘behind the scenes’ for writing contemporary adult fantasy fiction and paranormal romance stories set in the dream. I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion. I am not an expert and am not claiming to be one. I am simply one writer offering a glimpse of my struggle to become a successful independent author. Thank you for considering my words.
