Is sunday a lazy day for you? It usually is for me. I do my laundry. I bake the bread. I make the nut milk. I prepare myself for the week ahead, but I have time to read. Maybe I will get a bit of writing done too. Who knows. I do know that on Sundays, I try to relax a bit and let the pressure go. I hope you all get a chance to do the same. I know the big game is today. But for those of us who don't keep up with sports so closely that might mean you have time to curl up with a good book.

If you just stumbled on my blog or webpage, thanks for stopping by. Even if you have been here before, you may not have grabbed your free book. If you have not picked up your copy of The Thread, use this opportunity to check it out. Just head over to Ophelia Kee subscribe and download the pdf for free. Check out my story style. If you like it, follow the link at the end for more. No pressure.
For everyone who stops by to see what I am on next and what's happening in the world of Draoithe behind the scenes. I am back at it with YouTube. I have been uploading videos there for awhile now, but I feel as if they are not quite the quality experience that I would like them to be. So get ready for changes. I will get better. For everyone who has been with me from the beginning, y'all know I love you. Keep up the love and tell me the truth. Quality critique improves the product. Thank you!

I have also added Tumblr to our family of social media outreach. If you have not visited me there, stop in and give Ophelia Kee a follow and see what I come up with next. I have found myself writing a bit of verse lately. I hope no one minds the extra words floating around. On occasion, poetry is the simpler story. I promise to update the novel list soon as well. Dream Therapy has published and is available from Amazon, FREE with Kindle Unlimited.

I am continuing to create the excerpt pieces and the storyboards. But sometimes like today I get bogged down in something like YouTube, and it does take a few minutes to try and get everything accomplished. It is just me. No big publishing house. No money, just Ophelia Kee. The life of the Indie Author is not easy. I have a lot of hats to wear. The technical stuff always messes with my head. And don't get me started with the crazy marketing. But here is the recent excerpt from The Ruiri Complete. As with all my books, it too is on Amazon and Kindle.

I do write quite a bit of poetry and verse. I was thinking about eventually combining some of them into a book. If I do, I will put it up on Amazon too. Not trying to step on any toes with it. Also not claiming to be a poet. I see it more as verse. That's all, but some have asked me about it. So I wanted to shout out to my Instagram friends who wanted to know.
Gotta get some stuff done. My house must get vacuumed. Catch y'all tomorrow.
Be Careful!
Happy reading,
Ophelia Kee
Welcome to Ophelia Kee Speaks. This is a blog chronicling my independent author walk. The journey into the dream has been a life-changing experience as I try to become a full-time writer and leave the professional world behind me. In my blog each day, you will find information on the ‘behind the scenes’ for writing contemporary adult fantasy fiction and paranormal romance stories set in the dream. I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion. I am not an expert and am not claiming to be one. I am simply one writer offering a glimpse of my struggle to become a successful independent author. Thank you for considering my words.
