I am late publishing this blog today. Sincerest apologies to my loyal followers. I try, but sometimes life simply gets in the way. Time waits for no man. It simply marches on. The good news is that the bread has been baked, and the dinner was cooked. 'Gotta think positive' as my beautiful distraction always tells me. Now, on to Draoithe.
So what really happened was I was writing that book that I am tentatively calling Lost King or something right? It's really all Jonas Blake's fault. Shout out to the late night muse. He was the one that suggested I write this book, and well, now I can't seem to quit it. It even turned into two books. 28,000+ words. It's actually getting pretty good. So I will share the last paragraph I wrote from the rough draft today. (I know it is messing my schedule all up, but I am a pantser. It still all gets done even if it is a bit chaotic sometimes. Welcome to the dream.)
EXCERPT: Nick was right. He could not put his life on hold any longer. One more thing he knew for certain was that Savannah Mesmer would not be skipping town. She was staying with him. She belonged in his little micro kingdom the same as Nick, Viktor, and the librarian that Nick was chasing. Savannah Mesmer belonged to him, only she simply did not know it.
Shameless self promotion. It has to happen. You knew it was coming. Filth and Death is available as a preorder. I swear I am going to get the paperback up shortly. It's the hard part. Then I will get the e-book up on Amazon. It will be ready on Feb, 24th like I promised. It has already been posted to be part of Kindle Unlimited. And the debut price will be $3.99. But it is massive at 122,000+ words, so it won't be available at that price for long. Get yours before the next book comes out, and I have to raise the price.
So for those of you who don't know, I am not that good at marketing. I am still learning that side of this business. So I am likely still doing a whole lot of things all wrong. In the spirit of doing things and trying things to see what works and what doesn't, I actually like giving stuff away. That seems like the very best way to advertise to me. I get to share my work and if readers like it, they can choose without pressure to buy or read more with Kindle Unlimited! So considering that, if you have not picked up your FREE copy of Smoke of the Fire part 1 get it before the weekend is up.
I gotta write. So be kind and leave reviews when you read lovely people. I will try to catch up with you again tomorrow.
