So excited! Draoithe: Elementals is coming out Sept. 30th on Kindle. I'm super excited, but a little nervous. I'm going to be moving into the new place, and the wifi is not on yet. Might have to wait until I get it to see how the whole process goes. This will be the first book that I listed as a pre-order.
Some other noteworthy items of interest:
*I am debating spending money for Publisher Rocket. If I do, I will let everyone know how that goes.
*I am looking into Search Engine Optimization, but it sounds like Greek to me.
*I am going to try to release Draoithe: A Pack Forms Book trailer on YouTube by Christmas. If I get it, I will provide the links on the website for everyone to have a chance to watch and offer feedback.
*I'm also looking into further marketing venues like e-mail subscribing? Not really sure how that works, but okay.
Currently, Only Draoithe: Tantalu is available on multiple platforms, but I am working on a novel outside of Draoithe that connects to the series and is a stand alone read. Not sure if I can have multiple prequels, but I think Synner and the Sainte will be an interesting read. It's set in the outer Hebrides islands in 1525. I still like the idea that the prequel stories be always and forever $.99 and available on Kobo, Google, and Barnes and Noble as well as Kindle. I'm also looking into a way to get published on Apple. I am a Google girl so that gets a little weird. But I will try it.
I love to hear from the readers. If you have questions or comments, drop me a line and I will try to get back at you. Give a day or so. The day job is still a real thing.
Welcome to Ophelia Kee Speaks. This is a blog chronicling my independent author walk. The journey into the dream has been a life-changing experience as I try to become a full-time writer and leave the professional world behind me. In my blog each day, you will find information on the ‘behind the scenes’ for writing contemporary adult fantasy fiction and paranormal romance stories set in the dream. I will speak on topics detailing with my writing, publishing, promotion, and marketing as well as social media dealing with my books, book trailers, book launches, book art, music, audio, and video, as well as shameless self-promotion. I am not an expert and am not claiming to be one. I am simply one writer offering a glimpse of my struggle to become a successful independent author. Thank you for considering my words.
