It's finally available! The Midnight Magic excerpt story, Drake and Lorelai is live from Amazon and FREE with Kindle Unlimited! Midnight Magic has begun publishing! Please enjoy the teaser story and watch for the next short reads to begin publishing beginning next week.
Drake Lesarde once knew the only woman in the dream for him was Lorelai Teragon. He knew it, but he had no idea how to approach the warrior woman with that knowledge. He drank with her, slept next to her, and fought beside her as the Viking warrior he was.
Lorelai Teragon never found any man worthy of her attention until she met Drake Lesarde. He was a warrior dedicated to raiding and pillaging. It was his single minded focus. She went with him as a shield maiden. He was quiet. There was peace and mutual respect. She thought that would be enough. When Lorelai fell in battle, Drake’s soul cried out for the loss. He followed her into Valhalla. When Dross Rothstein brought his soul back to request he fight again, he had his chance to finally win Lorelai when Dross resurrected her as well. Time and Distance intervened. A thousand years parted them once again. Would love withstand that test? Cover Reveal
This is the cover for Draoithe: Midnight Magic. The 12 part short read miniseries is volume 16 in the Draoithe Saga of stories. I can't wait to share the main story with everyone. The excerpt is now available and part one will publish by next week. Let me know what you think. As always this is an adult fantasy story. 18+ please. Triggers are always possible. Forewarned is always forearmed. If you do have an opportunity and choose to read any of my stories, Thank you in advance. Please be kind and leave a review. I love to hear what you think. If you have questions, Please ask. So long as it won't give away future stories, I will happily answer.
The Author Walk Continues!
I started walking this path in 2016. I began writing. It took me about two years to find self-publishing. Then it took me a while to get the ins and outs worked out. I got lucky and was able to take a little time off from my professional career. Since November of 2019, I was writing and publishing full time. Marketing and promoting are still not my strong suit, but maybe I will figure it out eventually. I am stepping back into my professional career on a slightly different path with a hopefully more balanced life. Y'all wish me luck.
I took time this summer while working on Project Publish to edit and get ready 58 short reads in 7 more volumes. Midnight Magic is the next volume up. It does take me a minute to set those up to publish, but I am hoping that I will be able to publish at least one short read a week even with my professional work. So as my author walk drops back to only a part time side hustle, I hope you all will bear with me and know that my love is to write, but my bills must be paid. Social Media
I apologize if my social media presence has fallen off and you have not seen me there often. I wanted to finish Project Publish and set up as many titles for future publishing as possible to be able to continue the saga as I return to a full-time professional career. I will likely still be on Facebook and Instagram and will continue to post pins on Pinterest, but my online presence will decline. It is inevitable that I must take this step back to concentrate on my career. I wish it could be different. I would love to simply write and publish all the time. Alas, it is not a possibility at the moment. I still want to hear from you. If you have comments or questions, please reach out, just give me a bit more time to answer. Until the next blog...
Duty calls. Life must go on. As always if you read, please be kind and leave your review. Thank you all for stepping into the dream when you do.
Be Careful! Happy Reading, Ophelia Kee

Dragon Masters and Precious Treasures are both ten part miniseries. Each one hour short read segment is only $.99. Or the complete volume is available on both for half the cost of all the parts. Welcome to your next book vacation!
The End of an Era!
With the publication of short read miniseries volumes 12 and 13 of the Draoithe saga, Project Publish is finally done. Are more stories coming! You bet. Unfortunately, I must return to the professional workforce so, I must slow down. From now on I will try to publish at least one short read a week.
At over 250 titles on Amazon, there is a lot to read. If you just stumbled upon the dream, I got your fix for a while. For those of you who have stuck it out with me from the beginning, this has been one Helluva fun ride! Thank you! I am still publishing stories!
Up and Coming!
Midnight Magic will begin publishing as the miniseries one short read at a time August 7. With successive parts releasing each week. The story is getting good. The romance is getting hotter! Check out this sneak peek at the Book Blurb:
Julian Gypsun used to be a young man on his way to becoming a contractor. Everything changed when he died and was resurrected as a wizard’s familiar. He was immortal and far better off physically than he had been as a human. Still, he was trapped with his life chained to a giant of a wizard who had no problem abusing him in every way imaginable. Julian was powerless to stop it without ending his own existence. That is until he was yanked bodily through his own portal, transported to Draoithe, assigned to babysit the visiting dignitary, Amazon Warrior Princess Zephyra, and it was his job to convince her that her people should ally themselves with Luke and Draoithe. That sounded easy, but it wasn’t. He liked her. He had no clue how to act on that. Best to avoid that altogether. Keeping her safe just might equal his death. (Please see her warrior princess title.) She was old and so far out of his league. Worse, she liked him and was determined to have him. He can’t even consider that. She has no idea how broken he really is.
I would love to hear from you. Let me know if I can answer a question or if you just want to drop me a comment that would be awesome. I have to get some work done. If you read, please be kind and leave your review. Indie Authors especially will love you for it.
Be Careful! Happy Reading, Ophelia Kee

It's Here! I got it all published. Filth and Death is Live on Amazon! Each part is only$.99. Buy the complete Volume for only $6.49. Read it all for FREE and take an epic adventure into the dream with Kindle Unlimited!
Frank Grimes is Filth, and he should be Dead! The question is, Who kills him?
Draoithe: Filth and Death
Frank Grimes is a lowlife, no count, barely classifiable as a human, male who just happens to have enough sense to hire and retain qualified construction workers. He lands the contract to build most of Draoithe in January of 2016. He’s not only worthless, but he’s also criminal filth. He will do anything for an easy dollar. After the Draoithe housewarming party, his true colors shine through when he attempts to rape the architectural designer in her apartment after driving her home. Luke can’t afford to let Jace kill him or allow Flame to turn him as dragonsworn, but there is no way that Frank can be allowed to just get away with what he’s done. Even the Assassin King wants him dead, and he is the dragon called to serve one miscreant underking. Sentenced to house arrest and forced labor, Grimes seeks a way to fulfill the requirements Luke sets on him to gain enough respect that Javier will turn him as a canine shifter until he meets a blood demon who wants to help Luke out. Is it possible to totally rehabilitate the walking filth that is Frank Grimes into a real man in order to help him avoid certain death and turn him as a wolf? Or will the demon simply drink him dry and slowly end his miserable existence? Draoithe: Filth and Death Project Publish is Wrapping up!
With the completion of the short read miniseries Filth and Death in the Draoithe saga, I am nearing the end of Project Publish. There are more stories still to come. I am working on them as I type this blog. There are currently almost 27 complete storylines published that are set in the dream. Some are only short reads. Most are epic novel length miniseries.
My journey as a full-time writer is coming to an end. I have to find gainful employment. The house does not pay for itself. Charitable donations (in the form of royalties) to the Ophelia Kee fund are easily made by purchasing one of these stories. LOL. I do hope that you enjoy my stories. If you have never stepped into the dream before, allow me to entice you just a bit with a free title. The Thread is easily downloadable by subscribing to OpheliaKee.com. Upcoming titles in the saga are being edited and covered now. The updated list for the next titles should be available on the website now. I am currently debating timeframes for publishing. Some of that will be determined by any job that I get. Wish me luck. Social Media!
The Libary is Live entirely on Friday, July 24th! I am so excited. The Storyboard Preview is publishing on YouTube this afternoon so please check it out. As always there will be a link to it on the webpage and it will be viewable on Facebook as well. Check it out on Pinterest as well and see if soul suckers and a tainted demon lord could aid your next paranormal escape.
Work calls me. I gotta get busy before I step away from the dream to rejoin the daily grind. As always, Please be kind when you read and leave a review. Until the next time,
Be Careful! Happy reading, Ophelia Kee

Behind the Scenes
I am currently editing volume 20 Criminal Behavior. It's a good adult fantasy story. The Ainglean meets Draoithe. A Dragon King and the soulbound rise. This story is more fantasy than paranormal romance. Some lean on the more romantic side. This one has elements of romance, but is building up toward the end of the series with more fantasy action scenes. I can't pretend that I am any good at all the literary jargon. I just want to write a good story and offer a great escape. For a few, I might have managed it. To those of you who get it, thank you. For those who don't, sorry. Maybe the next works will appeal to you differently. Sadly, even though I have some interest in possibly writing other stories, I want to finish the Draoithe saga before I write anything else. So please don't hold your breath on any brand new story lines. There will be others, but I am nowhere near ready to share any of that.
I am still struggling with merchandise. Not sure what direction to go with that. I thought I had it with Printful, but it did not work out. I am going to look into Teespring next. The whole idea of audio is still a nightmare. I want to release my works on an audio format, but it is far more difficult to get a quality sound than one would think. Don't give up. I haven't. Social Media
The Book trailer for The Library is currently showing on YouTube. The webpage has been updated with a link on the Novels section. I hope y'all let me know if you like it. Subscribe to the channel and hit the thumbs up button when you check it out so you can get alerted when a new video is uploaded. Leave me a comment or two. It is always awesome to hear from you. I love answering questions, so fire away. Sometimes your questions have sparked whole story lines that I did not realize needed to be explored.
Up and Coming!
Midnight Magic will begin releasing July 31. The short read, Draoithe: Drake and Lorelai will precede the miniseries. It will be released for only $.99. I am excited. If you have been following the Instagram and Facebook stories, I have been releasing a few pieces. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves. Drake and Lorelai have an awesome love affair. I really enjoyed writing the whole book. When you meet Julian, I pray that you don't cringe when you learn how awful the Wizard's Circle really was. I will let you decide.
I best get back to work. Thanks for stopping by for a moment to check in on my author walk. If you read, don't forget to be kind and leave a review. Much love for that. Be Careful! Happy reading, Ophelia Kee

Behind the Scenes
When I started writing this blog, I promised that I would never lie. So I have not. My real name is something anyone could deduce. But I chose to use a pen name to protect my professional self. I intend to continue to use it although the profession I was originally protecting may never be mine again.
There are valid reasons for that. *The saga is not finished. *I currently have over 200 titles published in that name. *My pen name has meaning behind it. Ophelia was once the name of a peepshow place in a seedy part of town near my grandparents' homes. Kee was my great grandmother's last name. She was an amazing woman who believed that I deserved whatever I worked hard for. They say that the truth shall set you free. So for me, I am refusing to buy lies and am airing all the truth about the work I have been doing. My Author Walk has been crazy and fun. The experience has been amazing. If I had the time machine, I still would not change a thing. Do I know it all? Nope. Probably never will. Do I really ever make any money? Still Nope. Also, probably never will. Will I stop writing and publishing? No way. Why? I love to write. There are a handful of people who enjoy reading my stories and have requested that I continue. So I will for them and for me. I am lucky to live in a time when people all over the world have an opportunity to seek out and enjoy literatur in the genre that they enjoy. For those who like reading PNR/ Adult fantasy I hope you will consider choosing one of my stories to escape with. Do I think my stories will change the world? LOL, NO! I write them to entertain and allow the mind to escape. If all they ever do is aid a few in leaving the stress behind and enjoying a fantasy, then they served well. Up and Coming!![]()
Draoithe: The Library is launching part 1 this Friday. If you have been keeping up with the saga, the next piece is almost here. Part 2 will release the following Friday with the rest of the story publishing in parts by the end of the month. Relax, all parts will be only $.99 and it will be FREE with Kindle Unlimited!
I hope this volume helps to paint a clearer picture of where the series is headed and offer information about what needs to occur in order for Luke to win the war he wages with an enemy who is far more powerful and dangerous to the dream than he knew. The saga is heating up and getting really good. Social Media!![]()
I have to give a shout out to author abdullah on Instagram. This was sweet and seriously touched me! I want to say thank you for lifting my day! This author has a YouTube channel that might interest anyone who is seeking to write their own stories. Author Abdullah Kazi. It is in the beginning stages, so subscribes and likes are always helpful.
On occasion it is far better to help others than to promote myself. This author has a book coming out soon as well. The cover reveal is this Friday! Watch for it.
I have to get back to work. As always, if you read, please be kind and leave a review.

In the summer of 2016, a gryphon knight is sent on the wrong mission, to kidnap an elemental in order to save the castle’s gargoyles. Only she is fire, and she has some very serious backup in the form of dragons and a direwolf pack leader intent on protecting his pack. He quickly finds himself sentenced to a life of service with no hope in sight. Set adrift by his own people as the criminal he admits to being, Marchand begins to fade. But The woman he wronged comes to his rescue with an offer of friendship. Luke has plans for the gryphon if he can convince the gryphon that he still has worth. Marchand is all too aware that the end seems to be fast approaching him even for all that he is invincible. When the bear Spark has been waiting for and the woman that March has been searching for his entire life arrives at Draoithe, things get very confusing very fast. He must help the bear who views him as a rival for Spark’s affection and keep Spark’s friendship in order to help him save the only woman that could ever possibly matter. The only way to do all of that is to turn his back on everything he ever believed he wanted, alienate the man he viewed as his father, and accept Luke’s offer to work for the Druid pack.

It's done! Draoithe: Elementals the complete volume is available. Each hour long short read part is only $.99. The complete story is available now! I am pleased to announce that the entire 8th volume has been revised and edited for a better reader experience with the same awesome original storyline.
Ember found her in a warehouse with the others in July 2016. He got lost in time. She was just as he remembered the woman he had always been in love with nine hundred and twenty-nine years ago. Could it really be her again? Would she want him as she had so long ago? An oak tree locking him in with her meant Flower chose him again. Lightning finally had his Valkyrie within reach. She thought he looked like a Greek god, but her attraction nearly had him taking advantage of her weakness. Cloud messed with his mind and accidentally electrocuted him. Char wanted her as he had never wanted anyone, but she was not so sure about him. Every time she got stressed, things seemed to get frozen. When he got caught in the magical pull toward his lifemate and her energy source needs, he nearly died to give her what she needed. The elemental sisters come in sets of four controlling the natural elemental magic in the dream. One of them is missing, and when the others realize she is being stalked in San Antonio, Luke must mount a rescue mission or risk losing the support of the dragons who could truly aid in making Draoithe the sanctuary he envisions. Rescuing the missing sister leads to more dragons and a dangerous gryphon. Can Luke effectively help his dragons and secure his tiny kingdom? Social Media
Behind the Scenes
I am currently working on another semi-stand alone miniseries or three also set in the dream. Look for Lyons Gate stories to be coming out in a few months. Also, spoiler alert, there is a series set four years after the events that occur in the Draoithe series that is in the roughest stage of writing as well. Kings Wild should be interesting. I won't say more on them yet. I have been writing on them for quite a while now and I look forward to perhaps having them finished by the end of the year. When I get some of the behind the scenes story excerpts crafted on them I will share here first and let you all preview them.
I really need to get busy writing. I hope you have been staying safe and are enjoying the stories in the dream Just a reminder: Please be kind and leave your reviews when you finish a good story. Be Careful! Happy reading, Ophelia Kee |
